The Ministry of Defense says that Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducted 78 special operations in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Defense said Friday that the security forces also conducted 10 joint operations during the same operations.
Meanwhile the Air Forces carried out 22 airstrikes and 44 other air sorties in support of the armed forces.
According to defense ministry, the security forces killed at least 31 militants during the same operations and injured 17 others.
The security force also arrested three suspected militants during the operations, the ministry fo defense added.
The defense ministry also added that the security forces conducted the operations in Baghaln, ZAbul, Badghis, Helmand, Ghor, Kandahar, Wardak, Kapisa, Herat and Nimroz provinces.
