Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Nasser Kanani, who spoke to reporters in his weekly meeting, added: "We consider regional efforts and mechanisms to be useful and we believe that a government should come to work that represents the entire nation of Afghanistan."
He said: This is our basic approach and it has not changed. Our positions have been defined in the same framework for the past two years. If we talk and negotiate with the authorities of the caretaker government of Afghanistan, we express our opinions in these meetings, we do not seek to exclude any movement inside Afghanistan from the political mechanisms of this country. We are committed to the Afghan nation and everyone should help in the formation of a government that is derived from all sections of the Afghan people.
At the same time, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran praised the Islamic Emirate's actions against the Khorasan branch of ISIS in the recent meeting in Moscow and said: "Another development that is of great importance is the fight between the Taliban and ISIS terrorist groups in Khorasan. The cooperation of Afghanistan's neighboring countries with the Taliban in the fight against ISIS has had a valuable result, as a result of this cooperation, some of the leaders of this terrorist group have disappeared and their activities have been limited.
He added: "The continuation of this approach of the Taliban against local and regional terrorist groups is constructive and encouraging, and its generalization will be a sign of the Taliban's responsibility."
According to the BBC, he also praised the "security provision in Afghanistan" under the control of the Islamic Emirate and asked for attention to the country's economic problems.
He also added that the Islamic Emirate has not taken an acceptable step in the formation of an inclusive government with the presence of all ethnic groups and political groups of Afghanistan, and Iran is ready to host a meeting to discuss this issue.
But in response to the recent Russian meeting, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, criticized the meeting and asked the neighboring countries not to "create sedition among Afghans".
Zabihullah Mujahid told TOLOnews that "some countries want to revive the burned beads and create sedition. This is not a good move, we have protested to Russia. They should not interfere in the affairs of other countries."
After this meeting, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate also met and discussed with the Russian Ambassador in Kabul.
