America announced the detection of a "submarine" in Yemen
The United States Central Command headquarters "CENTCOM" wrote on the X social network on Sunday, February 18, that Yemen's Ansarullah movement has used a submarine for the first time since the start of attacks on commercial ships associated with the Zionist regime in the Red Sea.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: In the message published by the US military, it is stated: "Between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm Sana'a time on February 17, Centcom successfully launched five [so-called] self-defense attacks against three anti-ship cruise missiles. , carried out an unmanned submarine (UUV) and an unmanned surface vessel (USV) in Houthi-controlled areas. "This is the first time since the beginning of the attacks on October 23 that the Houthis have used an unmanned submarine."

The United States and the United Kingdom have carried out attacks against Yemen since mid-January, and consider it a response to threats against the freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of the highest political council of Ansarullah, called these attacks a terrorist brutality and a deliberate and unjustified attack.

The Ansarullah movement in northern Yemen, which controls much of Yemen's Red Sea coast, has previously warned of its intention to attack any ship linked to Israel and has asked other countries to recall their crews and not approach them.

A number of shipping companies have decided to stop shipping through the Red Sea.

Ansarullah has previously said that their actions in the Red Sea are aimed at helping Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, arguing that they do not interfere with freedom of navigation in the region. Arab and Muslim countries have repeatedly warned America that unconditional support for Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip will lead to the spread of conflict throughout the region.
