Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Pakistani police officials announced that they have arrested 22 suspects of ISIS, Tehreek-e-Taliban and other banned organizations.
According to the "Telangana Today" website, the Punjab Police of Pakistan announced that by arresting these suspects, they foiled a major terrorist attack.
The spokesman of Pakistan's Anti-Terrorism Department announced that during this week, 152 intelligence operations were conducted in different parts of Punjab, explosives weighing 1645 grams, three hand grenades, one improvised bomb, 12 detonators and one pistol were discovered from them.
"The arrested terrorists had planned sabotage in Punjab and wanted to target important facilities and personalities," said the spokesman of Pakistan's counter-terrorism department.
