Export processing zones will be built in six provinces of the country/traders
The senior officials of the Islamic Emirate at the conference "Celebration of the National Export Day and Appreciation of the Top Exporters of 1402" in Kabul, considered the growth and development of the country's domestic production as dependent on the increase in exports and said that the export processing zones in six provinces of the country, including Kabul, It will be built soon. They also asked the traders to export their products in accordance with international standards.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Industry and Trade today (Thursday, July 11) held a conference to celebrate the National Export Day and honor the top exporters of 1402 AH, under the title (More exports, better economy) with the presence of senior officials. Islamic Emirate, representatives of the country's private sectors and dozens of businessmen and industrialists held a meeting in the hall of this ministry.

In this program, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Office of the Islamic Emirate, considered the growth and development of Afghanistan's domestic production to be dependent on the increase in exports.

He stated that the Islamic Emirate supports the export of traders and added that the domestic products of Afghanistan are currently being exported to different countries of the world.

The Economic Vice President of the Prime Minister's Office announced the efforts of the Islamic Emirate in the direction of standardization of domestic production and stated that various facilities have been created for the processing of products inside the country and the field of exporting goods is available more than ever before.

He says that based on the decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate, export processing zones will be built in six provinces of the country, including Kabul.

According to his words, the works of land transfer and ownership of the zones have been completed and will soon be ready for exploitation for the purpose of standard export.

Mullah Baradar asked the businessmen and industrialists of the country to export their goods according to international standards.

This official of the Islamic Emirate emphasized that the security forces should stop the smuggling of some goods that are available inside the country, adding that the country's customs are working in a standard way.

The economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Office pointed out that traders should consider quality and quantity in the production of their products and added that soon new markets will be opened for Afghanistan's export products.

Maulvi Ataullah Omari, Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock also said in this conference that 80% of Afghan people are engaged in agriculture.

He emphasized on the standardization of agriculture and asked the businessmen to export the country's agricultural products to different countries.

He said: "The Ministry of Agriculture has sent its experts and professionals to different countries to bring technology in the agriculture sector so that we can get the experiences of other countries in the agriculture sector."

However, Sheikh Zia-ul-Rahman Al-Aryoubi, Deputy Policy Minister of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, said that exports have created a trade balance in the country and improved the economic situation.

He stated that the goal of the Islamic Emirate is to create a balance between exports and imports, adding that the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum is trying to process minerals inside the country.

The Minister of Policy of the Ministry of Mines stated that the best conditions are available for businessmen to establish mineral processing factories in the country, and with the establishment of these factories, the problem of unemployment will also be solved.

This official of the Islamic Emirate announced the efforts of the Ministry of Mines for self-sufficiency in the field of oil and gas in the country and said that this ministry is trying to make Afghanistan an oil and gas exporting country.

Mohammad Yunus Mohmand, the deputy of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said that 60% of Afghanistan's economic problems have been solved and only 40% of problems in the field of money transfers remain.

He stated that during the past three years, the volume of Afghanistan's exports has increased significantly and the Islamic Emirate should provide more opportunities for exports.

The vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment asked the Ministry of Agriculture to establish standard cold storage facilities for agricultural products to prevent spoilage of agricultural products.

Mirwais Hajizadeh, the deputy of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock, asked all Afghan investors who are living abroad to return to the country and invest in the country.

He added that Afghanistan will soon become self-sufficient in wheat production with the completion of Ghosh Tipeh Canal.
