Countries in the region can prevent the spread of terrorist activities by exchanging security information
Following the regional countries' concern about the spread of terrorism in Afghanistan, political experts say that only by exchanging security information can the spread of destructive activities of terrorist groups be stopped.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Political experts believe that during the last 20 years, along with the governments, new actors have emerged at the regional and global level, such as transnational terrorist organizations and companies that operate in different countries, from Therefore, the exchange of security information between neighboring countries and the region is a serious and fundamental need to deal with cross-border terrorist movements.

Sayed Nasser Mousavi, a political affairs expert, said in an interview with Ava: The activity of terrorist groups is not limited to one country, but they operate in several countries. Based on this, the exchange of security information between countries is an effective and well-considered solution for the fight against terrorism.

He added that by exchanging security information, the countries of the region can easily stop the spread of the destructive activities of terrorist groups and prevent these groups from becoming a big threat to the countries of the region.

He further emphasized: If the Islamic Emirate and the countries of the region want an effective and sustainable fight against terrorist groups in the region, they should jointly establish a security information exchange committee.

Mousavi stated that the exchange of security information between countries is a common thing, and noted that Arab countries and Shanghai member countries have been able to prevent the spread of terrorist groups in their countries by exchanging information.

Meanwhile, Inayatullah Khwarazmi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Emirate, said in an interview with Ava: We have assured our people and the countries of the region and the world that Afghanistan will never become a safe haven for terrorists.

Khwarazmi also stated that we will not allow any terrorist group to operate in Afghanistan, therefore the countries of the region and the world should not worry about the security of our country.

He added that the forces of the Islamic Emirate have the ability to deal with terrorist groups, and that there is no threat from the territory of Afghanistan to the countries of the region, because the Islamic Emirate wants good relations with the countries of the region and the world and will not allow these relations to be damaged.

These statements are made while Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the Special Representative of the President of Iran for Afghanistan Affairs, presented a new proposal to help the Islamic Emirate and deal with security threats and regional concerns, demanding the creation of a security committee and exchange of information with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate.

Kazemi Qomi, who gave an interview to Sputnik news agency after the "Moscow Format" meeting, said: "Countries in the region and neighboring Afghanistan should help Afghanistan in the framework of a coordinating committee or a security committee."

At the same time, he has emphasized that this proposal is not because Afghanistan's neighboring countries should resort to methods such as military campaigns to fight terrorism, but that Kabul can be helped through training troops, exchanging information and supplying equipment. In other words, the neighboring countries should cooperate with Kabul in this field.

The special representative of the President of Iran in Afghanistan affairs emphasized that the responsibility of maintaining the security of the people and the borders with the neighboring countries rests with the leadership of Afghanistan and said that the aid should be collective and group.
