Hamas delegation goes to Cairo
While none of the negotiations for a cease-fire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners have come to an end due to the disruptions of the Zionist regime, today a senior source related to the Palestinian resistance announced that Hamas will soon send a delegation to Cairo to resume negotiations.

This source stated in an interview with Al-Mayadeen that Washington has put pressure on the Egyptian and Qatari mediators as well as the occupying regime to reach a ceasefire agreement.

The mentioned source emphasized that the negotiations in Cairo will be resumed despite the continuing differences between Hamas and Israel.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, a source related to the Palestinian resistance, who is aware of the negotiations, announced that there was no progress in the recent meetings between the mediators and the Israeli side.

In an interview with Al-Mayadeen, this source stated: The recent meetings of the mediators with the Zionist delegation failed to lead to a ceasefire agreement, and Hamas reiterates that it is sticking to its main demands and will never back down in this matter. In these negotiations, no progress was achieved, especially in relation to the main demands of the Palestinians, i.e. the cessation of the war, the withdrawal of the occupying enemy from the Gaza Strip, and the return of the refugees to their areas.

On the other hand, another well-informed source in an interview with Al-Jazeera stated that Israel's response to the mediators, which was expressed by Shabak and Mossad officials and the army of this regime during their trip to Egypt, did not contain any new proposals that could negotiate the exchange of prisoners and a ceasefire in the Strip. It does not advance Gaza.

The Israelis have said that they will allow 2,000 women, children and elderly people over 50 to return to northern Gaza in the first phase of the ceasefire.
