Pope Francis called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip
Pope Francis, the leader of the world's Catholic Christians, emphasized the need for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the war-torn people in this strip.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The leader of the world's Catholic Christians, in a message on the occasion of the end of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr for the Muslims of the world, expressed his sadness over the continuation of the war in Gaza.

According to Mehr, he wrote: "An immediate ceasefire must be established in the Gaza Strip, which is in a state of humanitarian crisis, and the necessary aid should reach the Palestinians who are suffering greatly."

The Pope continued to emphasize: "It's enough, stop (the war)!" Please stop the howling of bullets and think about the children, think that these are your own children! They need houses, schools and parks, not graves and cemeteries!

Previously, last January, Pope Francis condemned the attacks of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip, which took place after the Al-Aqsa storm operation on the 7th of October.
