Nearly 90 people were killed and missing due to floods in Brazil
According to the authorities of Brazil, 29 people have lost their lives and 60 others have died due to flooding in this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_International Service: 29 people have been killed and 60 others are missing due to heavy rains and deadly floods in the south of Rio Grande do Sul state in Brazil.
 
The incident caused power and water outages across the state, and officials reported numerous incidents including destroyed roads, landslides and collapsed bridges.
 
More than 10,000 people have been forced to flee their homes, according to Brazil's civil defense agency.
 
According to Tasnim, Brazilian President Lula da Silva visited the state on Thursday to meet with local officials and express solidarity. He wrote in his official account on X program: Our government will do whatever is necessary to meet the needs of the people who are affected by these rains.
 
Heavy rain in this area started on Monday and is expected to continue until Friday.
