The caretaker government makes the economy self-sufficient by implementing infrastructure projects
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, in a meeting with the members of the UN Advisory Committee on Financial and Administrative Affairs, said that the Islamic Emirate does not want to rely on long-term humanitarian aid, but wants Afghanistan's national economy to become self-sufficient by implementing infrastructure projects.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate published a newsletter saying that the acting head of the ministry, Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with the members of the UN Advisory Committee on Financial and Administrative Affairs and representatives of UNAMA.
 
In this meeting, Amir Khan Muttaqi discussed Afghanistan's representation in this organization, the effectiveness of humanitarian aid and the possibility of supporting development projects in Afghanistan.
 
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs has called the growth of medium-sized businesses, paying attention to development projects, providing alternative crops for farmers and not being limited to humanitarian aid among his priorities.
 
He said that despite several years of wars and instability, the ground has been prepared for the implementation of TAPI, Casa-1000, Afghan Trans and large railway projects in the country.
 
Mr. Muttaqi added, the Islamic Emirate does not want to rely on long-term humanitarian aid, but by implementing these projects, it wants the national economy of Afghanistan to stand on its own feet.
 
On the other hand, in this meeting, the head of the UN Advisory Committee stated that the purpose of this committee's trip to Afghanistan is to evaluate the affairs of UNAMA and determine the priorities of Afghans.
 
The members of this committee praised the achievements of the Islamic Emirate in various sectors and said that they plan to visit some provinces of Afghanistan to assess the situation.
