Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, in a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, while appreciating the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the developments in Palestine and the recent initiative of the Tehran International Conference, pointing to effective measures to strengthen political, economic, commercial and transit relations between Afghanistan and Iran has had a detailed discussion about the situation of immigrants in this country. On the other hand, while appreciating the positive stance of the Islamic Emirate on the issue of Palestine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran emphasized the necessity of solving the existing issues between the two countries, including borders and water.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, in a report on the X channel about the details of the talks on Sunday, December 24, Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the head of the ministry, wrote with Dr. Hossein AmirAbdollahian: At the beginning of this meeting, Mr. Abdollahian said: Moghadam expressed his happiness and gratitude to Mr. Motaghi and the accompanying delegation for participating in the conference held on the issue of Palestine and giving an effective speech.

According to this ministry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran also appreciated the positive position of the Islamic Emirate regarding the issue of Palestine.

On the other hand, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate pointed to effective measures to strengthen political, economic, commercial and transit relations between Afghanistan and Iran.

He had a detailed conversation with his Iranian counterpart to solve the situation and problems of Afghan prisoners and immigrants.

At the end of this meeting, the two sides discussed the diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Iran at the highest level.

On the other hand, in the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding this meeting, it is stated: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, after the statements of Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi regarding the importance of holding the Palestine Conference in Tehran and commending the valuable initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a situation where the United Nations Security Council and Other organizations and countries have become passive, in a statement, he thanked him and the accompanying delegation for their active participation in this Palestinian conference.

According to this report, Dr. Amir Abdollahian, after stating the latest developments in Gaza and the genocide in Gaza and stressing the necessity of cooperation of all Muslim and freedom-loving countries in helping the Palestinian people, addressed the bilateral relations between Iran and Afghanistan and analyzed these relations from different dimensions. He evaluated the importance of the reader and the interaction between the two countries in various fields.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran emphasized on the necessity of solving the existing issues between the two countries, including the border, water, etc., and expressed hope that the officials of the caretaker government of Afghanistan will cooperate in a practical way to solve the existing problems in this field.

He further pointed out the importance of promoting bilateral relations, raised various issues in bilateral relations and emphasized the necessity of continuing interactions between the two countries in all fields, including water, border, trade and cooperation in judicial and consular affairs.
