The Deputy Minister of Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate this morning, Sunday, February 11, at the ceremony to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran by the embassy of this country in Kabul, while congratulating the government and people of Iran on this day, said that Afghanistan and Iran has had extensive interaction and development in the past two years and these relations should be strengthened in different dimensions.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Shir Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, in a speech at this ceremony, which was held in the presence of government and political figures of the two countries, scholars, cultural activists and journalists, said that the victory of the revolution The Islamic Republic of Iran is the fruit of the unity and unity of millions of Muslim men and women of the Iranian nation. On this day, on behalf of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, I congratulate the Iranian ambassador and diplomats, and through you, the honorable government and nation of Iran.
Mr. Stankzai added: It is evident that the interaction, development and expansion of relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in various political, economic, cultural, scientific, etc. sectors have been impressive and significant for more than two and a half years.
This official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate emphasized that Afghanistan and Iran have moved towards building mutual trust based on goodwill and good neighborliness and have reached the attitude of achieving the principles and interests of the people of the two countries with a win-win perspective.
He added: the shared historical, religious, cultural and linguistic backgrounds between the two countries will lead to the expansion and strengthening of relations between the two countries in various dimensions. Tehran shared about Palestine and on the sidelines of this meeting, they had useful and valuable bilateral meetings with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has added to the strengthening and expansion of good relations between the two countries.
In another part of his speech, Mr. Stanekzai said: Economy and trade are one of the important areas of cooperation between the two countries in the direction of bilateral and economic interactions, and the economic relations between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran are always expanding.
Referring to the visit of the economic deputy of the prime minister to the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Department, at the head of a delegation of 30 people, traveled to Iran from October 13 to 19 of this year, and we witnessed the signing of several agreements. We were in the economic and commercial arenas between the two countries, and now efforts are underway to implement these agreements.
The political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: In the judicial department, we hosted the high-ranking judicial delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for which I sincerely express my gratitude and appreciation to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He pointed out that the Islamic Emirate wants to expand and strengthen the neighboring countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, and emphasizes the continuation of these relations in the political, cultural, security and economic fields.
It should be remembered that in the past two years, with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate government, the relations between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran have expanded in various dimensions, and the officials of these two countries have signed many cooperation agreements during their trips.
