In a meeting with the representative of the US President, the Iraqi Prime Minister emphasized the strength of the country's forces in fighting terrorism and stabilizing the stability of Iraq.

 Iraqi premier Adel Abdel Mahdi will travel to Iran on Saturday, a member of his office said, in his first official visit to the country rivalling Washington for influence over Baghdad.
