China has begun sea trials of its third aircraft carrier

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International service: China began sea trials of its third aircraft carrier named "Fujian"; The ship, which was going through the final stages of construction and installation of equipment since this year.

 

The estimated weight of this ship is 80,000 tons, which makes it the largest aircraft carrier of the Chinese Navy. In addition to Fujian, which is named after one of the provinces of this country, China also has 2 other ships named "Liaoning" and "Shadong".

 

According to ISNA, Fujian has advanced features; including high fighter carrying capacity as well as electromagnetic catapults (which help fighters take off from the ground). By increasing the capabilities of China's navy, these features will help the country to perform better in expanding its influence in the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
