Iran's Foreign Minister: We presented a plan for Türkiye's withdrawal from Syria

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): He has said about regional equations and Turkey's relations with the Syrian government: In the Syrian issue, we are facing two phenomena today; One phenomenon is that the Arab world with a new attitude in Syria is opening doors, returning Syria to the Arab League, reopening embassies and establishing cooperation at different levels with Syria. The leaders of the Arab world, Islamic countries and the region understand the position of Syria very well, they know that Syria is not a country that they can remove from the regional equations, but as this positive phenomenon has accelerated in Syria, foreign actors and enemies of Syria Among them, the Americans are increasing their pressure on the people and government of Syria.
 
Iran's Foreign Minister stated: In the meeting which was the last round of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the four countries Iran, Syria, Russia and Turkey in Moscow, we put forward an idea, and that was that Turkey and Syria should withdraw Turkish military forces from the country. Syria to agree with each other, but in any case, this equation has two sides. The second side of the equation is that it is important for Turkey to secure its borders from Syrian territory so that it is not threatened by the destabilizing currents in the region, and this is the correct statement that Turkey is making.
 
Citing the developments of the Islamic world, he added: Therefore, based on the idea that we put forward in the quadrilateral meeting, Syria and Turkey agreed with each other that, firstly, Turkey commits to withdraw its military forces from the territory of Syria, and secondly, Syria commits to establishing military forces on the border to prevent any attack against the security of Turkish lands and Iran and Russia can play a role as guarantors in this issue. We are looking to consult with our Turkish brothers to see what are the ways to achieve a peaceful border between Turkey and Syria in order to alleviate Turkey's concerns and preserve the territorial integrity of Syria.
 
It should be mentioned that after the Syrian civil war and the presence of terrorists in this country, the Turkish military occupied parts of Syrian territory in the north of this country under the pretext of border security.
