Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Today (Tuesday, September 26, 2023), the Afghanistan Cricket Board wrote on its Facebook page that the Afghanistan national cricket team arrived in the city of Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala state, last night.
The newspaper added that the Afghanistan national cricket team will play its first training match before the World Cup next Friday against the South African team.
The second training match of the Afghanistan team is planned against the Sri Lankan team next Tuesday on the 3rd of October.
The Cricket World Cup will start on October 5th with the match between the defending champions England and New Zealand.
The Afghanistan cricket team will play its first match in the World Cup on October 7 against the Bangladesh team.
It should be noted that the top ten teams in the world participate in the World Cup.
