Deadly roadside bomb explosion targets wedding guests in East of Afghanistan

The Provincial Government Media Office in a statement said a roadside bomb explosion targeted a vehicle in Wazir area of Khogyai district.
The statement further added that the explosion killed 7 civilians including 6 women and child.
Furthermore, the Nangarhar Governor’s Office said the explosion also wounded 4 civilians including a woman.
The Governor’s Office also added that the civilians were on their way to participate in a wedding ceremony when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb.
No individual or group including Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility for the explosion.
