The security forces killed or wounded 15 Taliban militants by repulsing an attack on an army base in northern Balkh province.

The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the Taliban militants attacked the army base in Suryan area of Chahar Bolak district.
The statement further addd that the security forces killed 10 militants during the clash and wounded 5 others.
The Taliban group has not commented in this regard so far.
