The two-day talks between the Iranian envoy and the deputy head of the European Union's foreign policy commission on nuclear talks and the lifting of sanctions against Iran in Doha, Qatar, have ended.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), The talks on lifting the sanctions ended hours ago in the Qatari capital. "We have not yet achieved the progress we had hoped for," said the EU's deputy foreign policy chief. But we will continue our efforts to get the nuclear deal back on track.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry also said that Bagheri Kani and Enrique Mora would continue to be in contact to continue consultations.
He added: "Following the negotiation process and the lifting of sanctions, Iran's comments and operational proposals on the remaining issues were presented and the European side also presented its considerations." Efforts will continue to continue the talks and the next round of talks.
The program of the Iran-P5 + 1 nuclear deal (JCPOA) was violated and reached a deadlock after the US unilaterally withdrew from the agreement in 2018; But with the ouster of the US government, nuclear talks resumed.
However, after several rounds of talks to lift sanctions against Iran and the return of the United States to Vienna, this time the talks were held in Doha, Qatar, so that the dialogue between Iran and Western countries may be concluded.
