Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has published a newsletter saying that this agreement will cover 34 provinces of Afghanistan and its purpose is to build the capacity of non-governmental and civil organizations and support quick impact projects.
The UN agency said: "The new partnership will provide appropriate capacity building for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society organizations in their working environment and support projects with quick impacts."
This institution has stated that due to the long conflicts in Afghanistan, non-governmental and civil organizations have played an important role in providing humanitarian services and development activities.
Surayo Buzurukova; The Deputy Director of the United Nations Development Program in Afghanistan has thanked the World Bank for showing solidarity and support to non-governmental organizations and civil institutions in Afghanistan and helping them grow at a time when they need it most.
The United Nations Development Program has said that it will also support projects with quick impacts, according to an agreement signed by the World Bank program.
It has been said that the purpose of these projects; Increasing access to health, education, agriculture, food security and livelihood activities for vulnerable communities including people with disabilities.
