The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced the agreement of the delegation of the Islamic Emirate to Russia with the government of this country on trade and purchase of oil and gas.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Ministry published a statement saying that the agreement was reached during the recent visit of Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade to Moscow.
Based on the declaration, during this trip, the delegations of the two sides discussed business relations and encouraging Russian investors to invest in Afghanistan.
The announcement added that Mr. Azizi reached an understanding on the purchase of oil and gas in a meeting with Russian officials.
During this trip, Azizi also met with the President of Tatarstan, but no further details were given about this meeting.
Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate said: "Some of our technical colleagues are still in Russia and will have technical discussions on the details of the agreement."
He has emphasized that after solving the oil contract issue, they will discuss how to transfer foodstuffs with Russia.
