Silo Factory Start Operations in Balkh
According to the local officials of the province, the Silo factory of Balkh resumed operations after almost three decades of break.
Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, The head of the factory, Mohammad Jaweed Seddiqi told BNA correspondent that the, said that factory after three decades of bread will provide employment to 50 at the opening adding that 400 people including 50 women will be recruited in the near future.

The General Director of the Central Silo factory, Nusratullah Mansoor, traveled to Balkh to inaugurate the factory and said that the department is striving to reopen the Kandahar and Laghman Silo factories in the near future.

The Balkh Silo Factory was established in 1362 in the south of Balkh province, which, according to reports until 1375 prepared food for military units and civilian sectors.
