According to reports, the fire started in a carpet store and gradually spread to several other nearby stores.
The provincial head of Information and Culture of Faryab, Shamsullah Mohammadi told BNA that a number of carpet and curtain stores were burnt in this fire broke out.
He said that more than 2 million Afghanis were damaged in this fire to the owners of these stores.
Meanwhile, the police of Faryab announced the beginning of investigations to find out the case of the incident.
