Imported electricity from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan was cut off
Afghanistan Electricity Company has announced that the electricity imported from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan has been cut off due to technical problems.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Afghanistan Electricity Company published a newsletter and said that this power outage occurred around 4:00 pm on Friday, January 13, due to technical problems in the territory of Uzbekistan.
 
According to the news, the electricity officials of Uzbekistan say that they are trying to solve the problem as soon as possible.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities of Breshna Company have connected 75 megawatts of imported electricity from Tajikistan to Kabul, Kunduz and Takhar to solve the problem of power overload.
 
At the same time, Breshna Company has said that the Tarakhel thermal plant has been activated with the production of 60 megawatts of electricity, and most of the electricity is produced from internal hydropower sources.
 
According to Breshna Company, in the first stage, electricity will be distributed to hospitals and important security offices, and in the second stage, to residential places.
 
It should be remembered that a few days ago Breshna Company announced that the electricity imported from Tajikistan to Afghanistan was extended for another year.
