Peshawar explosion; Fighting terrorism is a regional necessity
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Today's view: The deadly attack in Peshawar once again emphasizes the necessity of forming a strong regional coalition to fight terrorism. This attack shows that no country in the region can claim to be immune from terrorism; because the same tactic that Pakistan had used against other countries during these years is now being used against that country itself, and this means that the stability and security of the region has been severely endangered.
A "suicide bomber" blew himself up in a mosque full of worshipers in the Pakistani city of Peshawar. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for this attack. The death toll has reached more than 60 people.

Shahbaz Sharif; The Prime Minister of Pakistan has strongly condemned this explosion and said that he will adopt a comprehensive strategy to establish law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that those behind this attack "have nothing to do with Islam".

He said that all elements of the country are "united" against terrorism and those who fight against Pakistan will be destroyed.

He ordered the interior minister to help the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to increase the capacity to fight terrorism.

This mosque is on the highway of the sensitive area of the city called "Police Line", which is the headquarters of the security forces and the residence of police officers and the central prison of Peshawar.

Following this event, many observers and analysts have expressed deep concern about the prospects for security and stability in Pakistan. They believe that this attack could indicate the beginning of a new round of deadly violence in Pakistan and the failure of efforts to establish peace between the central government and the Taliban fighters.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, which claimed responsibility for the incident, has warned that this is the beginning of a new series of revenge attacks by the group. If this threat is true, we should expect the worsening of Pakistan's security situation, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state; Since the war in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union, it has been the main breeding ground for militants supported by the central government of Pakistan and its foreign allies.

Therefore, the fight against terrorism for the Pakistani government is not as simple as creating, strengthening, equipping, expanding and sending it to neighboring countries, and the Peshawar attack confirms this view.

Pakistanis are now facing a big headache, and that is fighting against a disaster that they engineered and architected with the help of the colonial powers and American and Western spy agencies; But now they are left alone to control it.

Another challenge is Pakistan's lack of commitment to fight terrorism in the region. While regional stability and security have always been under threat as a result of the activities of the forces that arose from Pakistan, the leaders of Islamabad and the ranks of the army and the spy agency of that country have never taken this threat seriously.

Until now, they thought that terrorism is a tool in the service of Pakistan's hegemonic expansionism, and besides, it also serves the hegemonic and colonial goals of the great powers that are Pakistan's partner in this dangerous and deadly project. But now that colonialism in the region has failed and countries like Afghanistan have gained independence, the arrowhead of terrorists' attacks is pointing towards Islamabad.

However, the deadly attack in Peshawar once again emphasizes the necessity of forming a strong regional coalition to fight terrorism. This attack shows that no country in the region can claim to be immune from terrorism; Because the same tactic that Pakistan had used against other countries during these years is now being used against that country itself, and this means that the stability and security of the region has been severely endangered, and if effective steps are taken to dismantle the extremism terrorism in the region, especially from the countries that have been serious supporters of terrorist projects under the management of the West, the tragedy that occurred in Peshawar yesterday will quickly spread to all of Pakistan and then to other countries in the region.

Therefore, it is expected that the massacre of Peshawar will make the leaders of Islamabad and the ranks of the army and ISI to reconsider deeply, seriously and realistically in Pakistan's security strategy towards militant and extremist groups and using them as a means to provide and It forces them to achieve their hegemonic goals in the neighboring countries and the region, and this quickly paves the way for the creation of a powerful regional coalition against terrorism and extremism.
