NATO Secretary General resigns from his post
The spokesman of NATO announced that Jens Stoltenberg's presidency in this military alliance will end on the September 30, 2023 of, and he does not intend to extend his 9-year-old secretary generalship this time.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The German news agency, citing NATO spokesperson Ovana Langescu, reported that Jens Stoltenberg's term as NATO Secretary General will end on September 30, 2023 and he intends to extend it.
 
Langescu clarified: "He (Stoltenberg) has no intention to extend his mission. The Secretary General of NATO has held the position of Secretary General for about 9 years, and the last time his term of Secretary General was extended was in March of last year, which continues until the end of September 2023.

However, German newspaper Welt am Sonntag has reported that an informal agreement has been reached between NATO member states to extend Secretary General Stoltenberg's extension until spring 2024 so that he can preside over the 75th NATO Summit in Washington in April next year.
 
According to this report, some diplomatic sources say that Stoltenberg will have the opportunity to continue his work as the head of the World Bank after stepping down from the post of NATO Secretary General. The term of "David Malps" in the World Bank will end in April 2024.
