Holding regional meetings helps security and stability in Afghanistan
Political experts say that holding regional meetings will help in security and stability and prevent terrorism and the spread of narcotics in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Political experts raise this issue while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan announced on (Tuesday, March 7) that the first meeting of Tashkent with the presence of representatives from Uzbekistan, Iran, China, Pakistan, Russia , Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on the situation in Afghanistan.
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has also said that the current situation in Afghanistan, the mutual cooperation of the parties to regulate the situation in the country and create long-term peace and stability, as well as the issue of humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, are to be discussed.
 
Sayed Zakir Hussaini, a political expert, said in an interview with AVA that holding regional meetings would help the security and stability of Afghanistan and prevent the spread of terrorism and drugs.
 
He also added that Afghans have a lot in common with the countries of the region from a cultural, historical and religious point of view, therefore any kind of crisis in Afghanistan will cause a crisis in the countries of the region as well.
 
This political expert pointed out that if the leaders of the countries of the region want lasting peace to prevail in Afghanistan, they should also invite the officials of the Islamic Emirate to their meetings, so that the problems of our country can be better examined.
 
Hussaini emphasized: It is time to prevent the expansion and activity of terrorist groups in the region that Afghanistan's neighboring countries have practical and close political and military cooperation with the Islamic Emirate, and not rely only on holding meetings.
 
He also had the means that although the countries of the region have accepted the Islamic Emirate as a government, but in the current situation, there is a need for these countries to take the lead in recognizing the Islamic Emirate compared to other countries in the world.
 
Meanwhile, Noorullah Ibrahim Khel, an expert on military affairs, also said in an interview with AVA that holding regional meetings about Afghanistan helps to prevent terrorism and improve security in the countries of the region, especially Afghanistan.
 
According to Ibrahim Khel, without the cooperation of the countries of the region, it is difficult to prevent the spread and activities of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, because terrorists are active in most of the countries of the region.
 
Expressing that the countries of the region can play a key role in helping the people of Afghanistan and maintaining peace and security, he added that neighboring countries can prevent the spread of terrorism if they exchange security information with the Islamic Emirate.
 
However, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, has always told the media that the current government in Afghanistan is capable of dealing with terrorist groups and there will be no threat from Afghanistan to other countries, especially the countries of the region.
 
At the same time as the meeting in Uzbekistan, the Office of the United Nations Deputy in Kabul (UNAMA) has also said that the UN Security Council is going to hold a meeting about Afghanistan. Roza Otunbayeva, the UN Secretary General's special representative for Afghanistan, will speak in this meeting.
 
Meanwhile, this year, an international meeting on Afghanistan was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with the presence of 20 different countries, including the officials of the Islamic Emirate.
