The inflation rate in the country has decreased by more than 50%
The Ministry of Economy says that in the last year, the Islamic Emirate has been able to reduce the inflation rate by more than 50%.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Latif Nazari, Deputy Minister of Economy of the caretaker government of the Islamic Emirate, says that the inflation rate has decreased from 18.3 percent to 9.1 percent in the past one year.
He added that the Islamic Emirate has succeeded in reducing the inflation rate while Afghanistan has faced many challenges, including banking restrictions and export problems.
Based on theoretical statements, the inflation rate in Afghanistan is very low compared to neighboring countries and the region, and this is a bright spot for the Islamic Emirate.
He also pointed to the increase in exports and said that in the past year, Afghanistan has had an unprecedented increase in exports and the World Bank has also confirmed the unprecedented record breaking.
According to Nazari, Afghanistan exported 1.9 billion dollars this year, most of which were exported to India and Pakistan.
In another part of his speech, Nazari said that the Islamic Emirate has been successful in tax collection and has replaced corruption with transparency and supervision.
He added that the tariffs were collected transparently at the customs and a lot of revenue was deposited into the government treasury.
At the end of his speech, he noted that "income generation", "increasing exports", "successful collection of taxes" and "inflation rate control" are among the major economic achievements of the Islamic Emirate and these things have been promising for the people of Afghanistan.
