This 70-year-old man, who was accused of corruption, finally agreed to go to court. But one of Imran Khan's defense lawyers said that the court canceled his arrest warrant and his hearing was delayed.

 

Khan considers Barkhud's financial corruption accusations to be politically motivated. On Saturday of this week, when he decided to appear in court, thousands of his supporters clashed with the police in front of the court building.

 

Imran Khan's arrest warrant was issued for refusing a summons for a hearing in Islamabad, but he claimed that he did not want to leave his residence in Lahore for security reasons. When the police tried to arrest him in Lahore, his supporters clashed with the police.

 

Imran Khan said in a video message on Saturday that he might be jailed. He once again assured that the corruption investigation against him has a political motive to deny him the right to run in the October elections.

 

Imran Khan came to power in 2018 with the promise that he will fight against corruption and nepotism; But during his prime ministership, Pakistan's economic situation worsened.
