In this conversation, Amir Abdullahian, while congratulating each other on the holy month of Ramadan and welcoming the return of relations between Riyadh and Tehran to normal, emphasized the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop and strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia.
The foreign ministers of the two countries agreed to meet each other as soon as possible and make preparations for the reopening of embassies and consulates.
The relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran are becoming normal, while there was no political interaction between these two powerful countries of the Middle East in the last seven years.
