Poppy Farms Destroyed in Baghlan
The Counter-Narcotics Department officers destroyed six acres of poppy farm in Baghlan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The provincial police spokesman, Mawlavi Sher Ahmad Burhani told Bakhtar News Agency that the security forces are following the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, based on which the cultivation and trafficking of drugs are prohibited in the country.
 
Mr. Burhani encouraged farmers to cultivate legal plants instead of narcotics that destroy the health and life of people.
