The foreign ministers of China and Pakistan agreed that by including Afghanistan in the China-Pakistan economic corridor project network, they will increase the level of economic and development cooperation with this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Chin Gang and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met in Islamabad within the framework of the fourth round of strategic talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries.

They agreed to provide economic and humanitarian aid to Afghanistan through the development of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects.

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which started 8 years ago, is part of China's plan to invest in infrastructure projects in Asia, Africa and Europe.

Their joint statement states: "The two sides agreed to continue their humanitarian and economic assistance to the people of Afghanistan and to strengthen economic and construction relations with Afghanistan, which includes the expansion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects to Afghanistan." »

If this decision is implemented, China will invest millions of dollars in infrastructure projects in Afghanistan.

The two countries had previously discussed the inclusion of Afghanistan in the Belt and Road projects, but none of them has taken a practical step in this regard.
