Officials in the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Emirate say that despite the freezing of the country's foreign exchange reserves and numerous financial problems; however, the Islamic Emirate did not increase taxes and kept the same percentage as during the Republic. They also emphasize that the policy of the Islamic Emirate is to support domestic companies.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulavi Din Mohammad Hanif, Acting Minister of Economy of the Islamic Emirate, on Monday (May 16) in the meeting announcing "creating the necessary facilities in important tax matters for the purpose of growing and strengthening the private sector", said that the Islamic Emirate will continue which has been successful in evacuating the enemy from the country, has also been successful in creating facilities for citizens.
 
He stated that we are committed to the population and prosperity of the country and we are gradually rebuilding Afghanistan, adding that the Islamic Emirate has created many facilities for the citizens, especially the taxpayers, in nearly two years of being in power.
 
Hanif pointed out that despite the freezing of the country's foreign exchange reserves by the Americans and the suspension of development aid; but in the last two years, the Islamic Emirate not only did not increase taxes, but also created many facilities.
 
Based on Hanif's statements; in the last two years, all development and normal budgets have been financed from domestic revenues.
 
He also pointed out that the committees of the Islamic Emirate have been working on solving the problems of transportation and cars without documents and unpaid taxes for a year now, and various departments under the leadership of the Ministry of Economy have made a specific procedure in this matter, which was approved by the Cabinet and the Economic Commission. It has been approved and the Ministry of Interior and Defense as well as the Directorate of Intelligence have started working to implement it.
 
Hanif clarified that the fines for the vehicles that had not renewed their documents for 20 years were completely waived until 2014, and from 2014 to 2017, about 90% were waived, and from 2017 onwards, about 80 percent were waived. .
 
He reminded that a single center has been established for cars without documents and one key in Kabul, Herat and Balkh provinces and will soon be established in other provinces as well.
 
The Acting Minister of Economy also said about the Islamic Emirate's support for domestic companies that although a large number of domestic and foreign companies have been bidders for many contracts; But the Islamic Emirate has given priority to domestic companies.
 
As an example, he pointed out that the companies that volunteered in mines, including iron, lead and Jest Ghor mines, were from more than 20 countries; But the Islamic Emirate has given priority to domestic companies.
 
Based on his statements; The Islamic Emirate's policy is to support businessmen, investors and domestic companies, and because they have been removed from the context of society, the people are trying to settle the country with their own cooperation.
