UNICEF: One out of every five children in Afghanistan is working
The United Nations Children's Fund "UNICEF" in Afghanistan has said that one out of every five children in the country is working. The authorities of the Islamic Emirate, however, questioning the number of working children in Afghanistan, have said that they have set monthly pensions for the children who are forced to work.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Afghanistan says that one out of every five children in this country is working.

On Monday, the 22nd of Gemini, UNICEF tweeted that regardless of the cause, the organization aims to end child labor in all its forms.

According to UNICEF, the reasons for children's work in the country of immigration are separation from their families, injuries caused by unexploded ordnance, and dropping out of school.

Although the exact statistics of working children in the country are not available, but according to the latest statistics provided by the previous government, the number of these children in Afghanistan reaches 3.7 million, now the Islamic Emirate has called this statistic "unrealistic".

Sharafuddin Sharaf, the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, told the BBC: "Our observations show that the number of working children in Afghanistan is much lower than these published figures. In the big provinces like Herat, Balkh, Kandahar and Nangarhar, there are 500 to 1000 child laborers and not more. There are no more than 3,000 to 4,000 child workers in Kabul."

He added: "We investigate child laborers in Afghanistan and if they are forced to work, we deliver these children to our orphanages and orphanages. Children who are without a guardian, we will introduce them to the Red Crescent charity organization so that they can receive monthly assistance.

He also said that the Islamic Emirate has built "orphanages" in all provinces of Afghanistan for education and economic assistance to 10,500 working children.

The authorities of the Islamic Emirate have said that in addition to collecting drug addicts and beggars from the cities, they have also collected working children and given monthly pensions to those children who are forced to work.

United Nations on the World Day against Child Labor (June 12), with the slogan "Social justice for all. End child labor!" He has emphasized the acceleration of efforts to eliminate this phenomenon.
