In response to the recording of the hottest day in the history of the world, Amnesty International has criticized the countries' policies to deal with global warming, saying that the climate crisis is costing our lives and the time for a solution is running out.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The National Environmental Prediction Center of America has just announced that Monday (July 3) was the hottest day in the history of the world.
According to the statistics provided by this center, on this day the average temperature of the earth was 17.01 degrees Celsius and exceeded the record of 16.92 degrees Celsius in August 2016.
"How many more global warming records must be broken before governments take action to protect everyone's right to a healthy environment?" Amnesty International said in a statement.
Referring to this, Amnesty International said in its announcement that the world is on track to exceed the agreed-upon increase in global average temperature of 1.5 degrees Celsius.

Amnesty International has asked the countries present at the United Nations Climate Change Conference: "They must agree to accelerate the gradual elimination of fossil fuels, stop the exploitation of new sources of fossil fuels and fully comply with existing obligations in financing climate programs."
Meanwhile, Iranian media have reported that the air temperature above 50 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sistan and Baluchistan province of this country, which is the highest temperature in at least half a century.
