ICRC Vows To Provide Humanitarian Services For the Next Two Years
We will remain in Afghanistan and continue to provide essential humanitarian services to the Afghan people. The International Committee of the Red Cross announced.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Eloi Fillion, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Afghanistan, says, they have plans to provide humanitarian services for the next two years.
 
The ICRC has a plan for the next two years to deliver health care, nutrition, physical rehabilitation, and other assistance, she said.
 
Fillion said that ICRC will continue to support the Afghan hospitals, especially in emergency care and orthopedics.
 
However, she also said that the responsibility for the financial management of all hospitals will be transferred to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan from Thursday, August 31.
 
ICRC plans to continue support for 47 primary healthcare centers and wants to continue work to improve the health situation in detention centers.
 
The ICRC urged the international community and development organizations to increase their aid for Afghanistan and its vital structures. It said that many Afghans, who have suffered for years, need humanitarian help.
