Saudi Arabia suspended the peace agreement negotiations with the Zionist regime
The media have reported that Saudi Arabia has withdrawn from negotiations to normalize relations with the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, the head of the Zionist regime. It has been said that senior Saudi officials have repeatedly emphasized that any normalization of relations with the Zionist regime depends on providing the fundamental rights of the Palestinians.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Jerusalem Post on Sunday, September 17 pointed to a report from the Arabic newspaper Ilaf and wrote that according to this report, Saudi Arabia has opened negotiations with the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the Independent, the Arabic newspaper Ilaf wrote from an informed official in the Israeli Prime Minister's Office that Saudi Arabia informed the Biden administration of its decision to stop all talks on the normalization of relations with Tel Aviv on Sunday.

According to the report, Riyadh sent a message through the United States that the "extremist" nature of the right-wing Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu "makes any possibility of rapprochement with the Palestinians, and thus with the Saudis, difficult."

This is despite the fact that during the past months, the Biden government has made a lot of efforts to "normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia" in order to achieve a great achievement in the Middle East on the eve of the 2024 elections.

Last week, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Saudi Arabia has informed the Biden administration that resolving the Palestinian issue is critical to any normalization agreement with Israel.

Prior to that, Axios news and analysis website on Friday, September 15, quoted several informed sources and wrote that the senior officials of the US President Joe Biden's government, in the meetings they had with the senior representative of the Israeli government, It has been emphasized that Israel should give certain concessions to the Palestinians in the framework of the plan to normalize relations with Saudi Arabia.

According to Axios sources, the US Secretary of State, in a conversation with the representative of Netanyahu's government, clearly said that if the Israeli government thinks that it can have normal relations with Saudi Arabia without providing concessions for the Palestinians, it does not have a correct understanding of the prevailing conditions.

Last month, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen emphasized in an interview with Ilaf newspaper that "the Palestinian issue is not an obstacle to peace."

It should be noted that in recent years, the American government has launched efforts to recognize the Zionist regime from the Arab countries and the region. This is despite the fact that no option has been considered in these efforts in the field of realizing the rights of the Palestinian people.
