The first humanitarian aid arrived in Gaza through the Rafah crossing
News sources in Gaza today announced the arrival of the first Lorries carrying humanitarian aid, including medicine and food, through the Rafah crossing in Egypt.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): News sources in Gaza reported today (October 21, 2023) the arrival of the first Lorries carrying humanitarian aid, including medicine and food, through the Rafah crossing in Egypt.

The information office of the Hamas government in Gaza announced that 20 Lorries containing medical supplies and limited amounts of food entered the area. The Rafah crossing is considered to be the only connection between Gaza and the outside world, and since the beginning of the war, the Zionist regime had threatened to bomb it if any aid entered Gaza.

In the past 15 days, the invaders have cut off water, electricity and fuel in Gaza, and according to the United Nations, 1.4 million people have been displaced in this area.

The American Embassy in occupied Palestine announced a few hours ago that it has received information that the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will be opened today Saturday (October 21) at 10 am local time.

Egyptian media previously reported that the Rafah crossing would be opened on Friday for aid to enter the Gaza Strip, but this did not happen. On Thursday morning, Cairo announced that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and US President Joe Biden agreed in a phone call to "sustainably deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing".

The "France" news agency also announced on Friday, quoting sources in the United Nations that the shipment of first aid is expected to enter the Gaza Strip "in the next two days".

The arrival of the first shipment of humanitarian aid to Gaza comes at a time when 15 days have passed since the war in this strip; The battle that started with the unique operation of Al-Aqsa Storm, which has caused the death of at least 1400 Zionists; On the other hand, the occupiers are bombarding Gaza insanely, which has resulted in nearly four thousand martyrs, 70% of whom are women and children.
