Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, wrote on his X social page today (Monday, October 23, 2023) that the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, Sirajuddin Haqqani, met Farydon Cinerlioglu, the Special Coordinator of the United Nations. He said that the world community and international organizations should emphasize the world's understanding and diplomatic relations with Afghanistan instead of unilateral decisions.
Stating that Afghans are responsible members of the international community, the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs added: The international community and international organizations should take the necessary steps in Afghanistan based on their responsibility to ensure global peace.
Mr. Haqqani emphasized on the development of communication and dialogue and said: The international community should cooperate with Afghans in the field of strengthening Afghanistan's relations with the international community, based on its obligations, keeping in mind the principle of neutrality.
Mr. Haqqani added: The tensions between Afghans have ended, the trust-building phase continues, trust in each other has increased, and as an orderly and united country, reconstruction works continue in all parts of this country.
Acting Minister of Interior Affairs has called the fight against narcotics in the country successful, but has emphasized that this phenomenon is a common threat to all countries and a joint fight should be done and farmers should also be considered as an alternative livelihood.
At the same time, Ferydon Cinerlioglu, the special coordinator of the United Nations, also spoke in this meeting and said that he came to the conclusion that no country wants to support and continue the war in Afghanistan.
He called the implementation of law, security and development of agricultural affairs and the implementation of vital projects among the great achievements of the Islamic Emirate and added that UNAMA is fully prepared in the field of strengthening Afghanistan's relations with the international community, reconstruction and the fight against narcotics and wants all-round cooperation.
