According to the claim of the American "CENTCOM" terrorist organization, an American destroyer shot down Yemen's Houthi attack drones over the Red Sea on Thursday (today).
AfghanVoice Agency (AVA)-Monitoring: According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, in a situation where Ansarullah of Yemen continues to support Palestine and their missile and drone attacks on occupied Palestine, the Americans have claimed to have shot down a number of Yemeni drones over the Red Sea.
The terrorist organization “CENTCOM " (Central Command Headquarters of the US Army in West Asia) announced on its virtual page on the X channel (former Twitter) that it shot down a number of offensive drones that had flown from the origin of Yemen.
According to the Americans, on the morning of November 23, the destroyer Thomas Hudner targeted several attack drones that were launched from areas under the control of the Houthis in Yemen.
According to the announcement of the Central Command of the US Army in West Asia, this destroyer shot down these drones while on patrol in the Red Sea, and this incident did not cause any damage or damage to the warship and its crew.
The officials of the Yemeni army and Ansarullah have so far not commented on the American claim regarding the targeting of drones over the Red Sea and have not confirmed or denied this news.
In recent weeks, following the escalation of all-out attacks by the Zionist regime against the besieged Gaza Strip, Ansarullah officials and the Yemeni army have taken actions such as missile and drone attacks on occupied Palestine while supporting the Palestinians.
On Wednesday evening (last night), Brigadier Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced a missile attack on the port of Eilat in the south of occupied Palestine. According to him, the armed forces of Yemen will continue their attacks until the aggression against the people of Gaza and the West Bank stops.
In continuation of recent support to Palestine, Yemen recently took control of an Israeli ship named "Galaxy Leader" and transferred it to its shores. Yesterday, the Yemeni Navy announced in a statement: "We will continue our military operations against the ships and interests of the Israeli enemy until the end of the aggression against Gaza and the enemy stops committing crimes against the Palestinian people."
According to the Yemeni Navy, all Israeli-flagged ships or ships managed by Israeli companies or ships owned by Israelis will be targeted by the Yemeni armed forces.
The Yemeni Navy added: "We inform all ships passing through the Red Sea to stay away from Israeli ships and not turn off their detection systems."/Fars news
