Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-Sharif: Mohammad Hossein Azimi, director of agricultural extension of the Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Balkh province, said in relation to the impact of climate change on the farming of farmers: the level of rainfall in Balkh province in the past years was 100 to 300 It used to reach 100 mm, but this year this figure has reached 8 to 10 mm, which indicates the decrease of agricultural products.

He stated that in the coming year, we will definitely see serious changes in the field of agriculture and agricultural products, and it is really worrying.

At the same time, Habibullah, one of the gardeners in Dehdadi district of Balkh Province, said: "No rain indicates a drought, and the decrease in rainfall is a concern for every farmer."

He stated that climate change has caused a decrease in rainfall, and the decrease in rainfall indicates a decrease in agricultural products and garden yields, and this trend is getting worse every year.
