The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Afghanistan tomorrow
The United Nations Security Council is supposed to review the situation in Afghanistan tomorrow (Monday, February 25) in a meeting.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: It is stated in the list of programs of the United Nations Security Council that this meeting will be held "privately" before noon tomorrow, New York time.

Information and details about the agenda and topics to be discussed in this meeting have not been published.

This meeting will be held while the United Nations held the second meeting of the special representatives of the countries on Afghanistan affairs in Doha a week ago.

At the Doha meeting, based on Security Council Resolution 2721, proposals for an "independent assessment of Afghanistan" and the appointment of a United Nations special representative for this country were discussed.

Apparently, the representatives of the countries in this meeting could not agree on the appointment of the United Nations special representative for Afghanistan, and the Secretary General of the United Nations is supposed to consult with various parties in this matter.
