Mujahid: Two American citizens have been arrested for violating the laws of Afghanistan
Zabihullah Mujahid says that a number of foreign citizens, including two Americans, are being detained by the Islamic Emirate government for violating Afghan laws.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid yesterday (Sunday, March 31) in an audio tape that was released on National Radio, without providing details about the violation of foreign citizens, said that Afghanistan has its own laws and whoever enters this country he or she must accept the rules and implement them.

The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate pointed out: "A number of foreign citizens in Afghanistan, including two Americans, are in detention and the reason for their detention is violations of Afghan laws."

The spokesperson of the government added that two American citizens have been discussed with the authorities of that country.

Meanwhile, the NBC news network, citing two American national security officials, reported on Saturday that the Islamic Emirate had detained two American citizens.

According to reports, one of these Americans is called Ryan Corbett.

US security officials declined to name the other person, but noted that he entered Afghanistan on a tourist visa after being evacuated in 2021.

Last month, the US State Department demanded the immediate and unconditional release of American citizens from the prison of the Islamic Emirate.

Recently, Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, said in his election campaign that the Biden government has left Americans behind by leaving Afghanistan, and a large number of citizens of that country are probably present as hostages in Afghanistan.
