Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Iranian media, "Hossein Akbari", the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria, on Monday, stated that between five and seven people were martyred during the Zionist regime's air attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
This senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that "Iran's consulate building in Damascus was attacked by F-35 fighters with 6 missiles", and continued: "I was at my workplace in the embassy and I saw from my room that The building was damaged. It is not the first time that the Zionist regime commits crimes against diplomats, and so far this regime has committed many crimes against diplomats.
Akbari, who was speaking to reporters in front of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, announced: "During this attack, a number of our colleagues and military advisers who were present in the building were martyred, whose names we will announce later."
Pointing out that "during the last 6 months, we have witnessed the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people as well as Syria," he said: Today, the Zionists committed this crime and attacked the Iranian consulate building, which is located next to the embassy.
