The national futsal team drew 2-2 with Saudi Arabia

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Sports Service: Football Federation officials say that the national futsal players faced the players of Saudi Arabia in Thailand yesterday (Thursday, April 11).

 

In this match, Mehdi Nurzai and Omid Ghanbari managed to score for Afghanistan.

 

Based on the information of the officials in the Football Federation, the country's players will play against the Chinese players in another preparatory game until the Asian Nations Cup is held next year.

 

Afghanistan's national futsal team had won against the futsal teams of Thailand, Tajikistan, Myanmar and "Chanburi" club team of Thailand before the draw in the friendly match against Saudi Arabia.

 

The national futsal team will compete in the Asian Nations Cup in the current year, against the teams of Iran, Kuwait and Bahrain, in the group, and they will play their first match in the framework of this competition on the 18th of the current month of 2024, against the Iranian national team in Thailand.
