The New York Times called for an end to sending American weapons to Israel
In an important action, the editorial board of the New York Times demanded that the sending of American weapons to Israel be conditional.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: This newspaper wrote in its editorial note on Saturday, "Tens of thousands of dead and hundreds of thousands of homeless people in Gaza cannot be tolerated by the Americans anymore." But Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his ultra-nationalist allies in the government have so far ignored America's repeated requests for a cease-fire, to avoid killing civilians, and to increase humanitarian aid.

The authors of this letter wrote that America's commitment to defend Israel's security does not mean that the President of the United States will allow Mr. Netanyahu to continue his "double and dazzling games": "Israel's leader is fighting for political survival against the growing anger of Israeli voters. "He knows that if he leaves the government, he risks being tried on serious charges of corruption."

The authors add that "until recently, he resisted diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire that would have led to the release of the Israeli hostages." He has used American weapons to go after Hamas, but has turned a deaf ear to repeated American pleas to do more to protect Gaza's civilians. "Worse, Mr. Netanyahu has turned defiance of American leadership into a political tool, encouraging hard-liners in his cabinet who are committed to reoccupying Gaza."

The authors of this note believe that Israel has broken the bond of trust between the two countries, and until it restores this bond, "America will not be able to provide Israel with the weapons that were used in the war against Hamas, as in the past."

At the same time, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced in an announcement this Sunday morning about the great revenge of this country with the support and accompaniment of the armed forces of this country against the Zionist regime, following this regime's attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
