Iran Says to Continue Growing Movement, Despite Loss of President Rayeesi, FM
The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said despite the martyrdom of President Raisi and Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian in the recent helicopter crash, the Islamic Republic will go ahead with its growing movement.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: In a Friday message on X, Nasser Kan'ani added there will be no disruption in Iran's growing movement and its constructive regional and international roles.
Kan’ani praised Rayeesi as “a popular, competent and hard-working president” while describing the late top Iranian diplomat as “a studious and active foreign minister” who were lost in the tragic incident.
The spokesman pointed out under the wise Leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and with the presence of a great, appreciative and awake nation, there will be no disruption in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s growing movement and its constructive and effective role in the regional and international interactions.
On Thursday afternoon, Iranian President Ebrahim Rayeesi was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam, in the northeastern city of Mashhad.
A funeral procession was also held for the late Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian, at the end of which his body was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Shah Abdul Azim, in Shahr-e-Rey, south of the capital Tehran./Fars news
