Taliban Qatar office: step toward peace or violating the government legitimacy?
Kabul, (AVA)- Unlike a number of experts, some experts expressed their concerns over opening Taliban office in Qatar but which one has right view?

Taliban political office named "the Political Office of Afghanistan Islamic Emirate" was opened during a ceremony attended by Afghanistan foreign minister, armed insurgents and Qatari officials with the aim of holding talks with the world community.

This comes as the parliamentarians sharply reacted against the name of the office and refused to recognize the political parties' offices out of Afghanistan.

The Afghanistan parliament said in a statement that according to Afghan constitution and international law, opening a representative office for a political party out of a country is illegitimate.

The MPs said they have never recognized any party naming Afghanistan Islamic Emirate.

The parliament said the peace process should be facilitated according to Afghan people interests and Afghan constitution and MPs requested the UN to keep the Afghan-led peace process under their surveillance.

The Afghan MPs emphasized that Taliban office put the Afghanistan political system under question which take root from the Afghan government weakness.

They said the peace process should not progressed put of Afghanistan and the government has failed to prevent it.

Expressing concerns over Taliban office opening, Mohammad Saleh Saljoghi, the parliament second vice, said regarding the Afghanistan war, each talk should be held in Afghanistan by Afghan people and civil organizations.

According to Saljoghi, Taliban office proves that Taliban is accepted as an Afghanistan political situation changer.

Wahid Mojdeh, the political expert, believes Taliban office is considered as a step toward peace implementation.

He told Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) that if U.S leaves Afghanistan, the government and Taliban will be hoped to hold talks to end the war in Afghaistan.

To a question "why did Taliban name their office Afghanistan Islamic Emirate" Mojdeh said this is an agreement between the U.S and Taliban.

He believes Taliban wants to warn the U.S that the eradicated government is still survived and Taliban has never recognize the U.S-led government in Afghanistan.

The expert said accepting the name of the office shows that the U.S shifts their support from the Afghan government to Taliban.

He concluded U.S brought legitimacy to the Afghan government and now they took the government legitimacy.
