Afghan teenage girl, 17, committed suicide due to facing personal problems in the Central Ghor province, the local officials confirmed.

AVA- The incident took place in Sangbar area of Ferozkoh City, the capital city of Ghor province”, Mohammad Iqbal Nezami, spokesman of Ghor Police Chief, said to Ariana News local reporter.
According to him, the young teenage girl named Mehmangul and couldn’t survived her suicide attempt after she was transferred to hospital.
Some provinces of Afghanistan have recently witnessed ups in self-murder cases of women and girls.
A 12 years old girl had recently killed herself also by drinking rat poison in the northern Sar-e-Pul province.
Domestic violence, poverty and traditional customs are being often cited as the main reason behind such incident from across the county.
