The eyewitnesses in the area are saying that the explosion has taken place close to Chardehi Market and a police vehicle has been targeted in the blast.
Security sources confirm the incident and said a magnetic bomb planted in a police vehicle went off, leaving at least four people wounded.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
Today’s incident takes place amid ongoing efforts to end the violence through reconciliation.
Both the Afghan government and Taliban group announced temporary ceasefire to allow the residents of the country to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr in a peaceful environment.
